What is F Stop and Aperture ?
F Stop and aperture. If a F stop is small and the aperture is wide, there will be a small depth of field. If the F stop is big and the aperture is smaller, there would be a larger depth of field. The smaller the F stop the bigger the aperture. The bigger the F stop the smaller the aperture. In the image to the right it shows different F stops and apertures. On the top one f/16 the image has a smaller aperture with a bigger F stop causing the picture to be darker. The bottom one f/1.4 the aperture is wider and the F stop is lower this allows more light in the image.
